Kenetrek fan here. I have a pair of Mountain Extremes that are 5 years old, with who knows how many miles and they are still going strong. I have worn them in all conditions.

#5 for both. I have shot a bunch of quail with 5's and never had a problem blowing them up. Just give them a split second to get a little further before you shoot. #5 also pass through and I don't find shot in quail very often.

I agree, WingWorks does make a great vest if you can order one. I check periodically and have never found that they are accepting orders.

Another Final Rise user here. I bought one when they were first released and love it! I carry a lot of water for my dogs and it is really nice to have all the weight on your hips and not on your shoulders. The cost is worth it.

Get a 22" Weber Smokey Mountain. It can smoke anything and can make some great BBQ!

I have used my Final Rise vest to carry turkey's in the game bag a few times. Worked quite well.

That makes sense. I've been using the Venom heavy gloves and I don't think they are tighter than a golf glove.

Has anyone tried putting rubber gloves under their normal gloves? I've had a few guys do that and they say it has helped since the wind doesn't hit your hands. I'm pretty luck and once my hands get warm I can wear fairly thin gloves and not have any problems.

Last year my dad and a couple friends hunted SD for 4 days and the first 3 days we shot 6-8 birds a day on public. At the end of the 3rd day my dog put a stick through is foot and couldn't hunt....we were lucky to shoot the 2 birds birds we did.
