If they share the same county license plate number I usually don't have a problem having a tag along. Although last summer I had 2 sketchy looking guys come up and ask to shoot my shotguns while I was shooting clay at north point rec area. That was a hard no response
I hunt public land and road ditches with my 1.5 yr old lab, I'm seeing around 10 birds in the 1.5 hours I get to hunt after work. I haven't been able to hunt an entire day yet.
I'm seeing good numbers and there are alot of acres of crop left standing. Less crop in the fields puts more birds in the grass. Also I get a better understanding of "numbers" of birds after it gets cold and they bunch together.
Got 2 rooster Saturday and limited out this afternoon with 3 bonus ducks. Ran into around 8 grouse also but thought they were hens until they were out of range. Lots of young birds!
