    Disked a couple weeks before planting, glyphosate 4 days before planting, corn and beans were 2 inches deep, milo about 3/4 inches deep. Trying again this evening. Hens should be sitting nests.

    I know the weather can be unpredictable but after East River deer season getting permission on private property gets easier and competition on the public ground goes way down. Lousy weather pushes birds into the heaviest cover. Lots of that cover is on public property.
