Sorry to hear that. A lot of times hayed or cut crp concentrates the birds to draws and fence lines making them easier to hunt. A pheasants home range is small.

How long you staying? Obviously the public will be crazy Sat and Sun but by Tuesday should be able to have several pieces to yourself. What area you heading to?

If you want to mix some history in it the Teddy Roosevelt in ND would be a good destination. Went there 1st week of Oct last year and while not crazy bird numbers there we did get into them and huns every day.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did find ducks but no chuckar/pheasants. I do have my own pigeons but like to throw some chuckars in the mix as that is what they use in the test.
