    Cost of raising pigeons?

Has anyone raised pigeons in a small coop for training their dogs? Is it cost effective vs buying pigeons? Has anyone had problems with various parasites that pigeons can pick up such as lice? Some small cities such has Sioux Falls allow raising chickens in the back yard so pigeons should be...

    Long Distance Traveling for Birds

I think the pro campers are winning the debate. More upfront cost but in the long term campers pay for themselves. Leftyhunter

Good thread with pros and cons about the various travel options in motels vs campers or RVs. One Pro I didn't see mentioned in behalf of having ones osn mobile residence is not having to deal with bed bugs. Even expensive hotels can get infested and thats not fun. Leftyhunter

Why did you go with the breed that you did and have you been satisfied?

Not sure but can the Vizsla tolerate the cold of the Dakotas and the sharp pointed grasses and plants? I don't know much about...

Ringnecks of course can live in marshes. Once upon a time the the California Fish and Game used to plant Ringnecks...

Why did you go with the breed that you did and have you been satisfied?

There are so many hunting dog breeds that its to difficult to say which one is best. If I get a chance I would just have to observe different breeds and try to figure out which one works best for me. American hunters are basically spoiled by choices. Leftyhunter
