I have shot so many birds - I often am looking for photo opportunities as much as the next bird in the bag. If I am hunting with my family or friends, I often put my gun down and take photos. Sometimes I do not even carry a gun.

Spot, stalk, and jump shooting pheasants works well in high winds. If you know the area you do not even have to spot ... you know those small cover areas that hold birds. Not my favorite, but it is fun to come over a small hill onto a willow or buffalo berry patch and jump 50+ pheasants ...
