You will not regret it. If you have the time save a day for the Black Hills. I always make that part of the trip. Love the western history out that way!

The Dickinson area is great. I hunted it many years. Pheasant are outstanding there. You will also find Huns and sharptails. Also plenty of great lodging and restaurants in Dickinson. Hope this helps

We hunted mainly private but the walk in areas we did hunt were all CRP and all held quite a few birds. In the heavy snow the walking was brutal with snow breaking down the switch grass but we did okay. Just about all prairie weeds. Hardly any cat tails or trees
