Pheasant season is closed. Bob will be back this Spring or Summer Goose is/was fine. A little potty humor hurts few. Most of us have run into someone that is not law abiding… most I suppose “don’t talk about it”, stop hanging with them or at least stop hunting with them. Not sure many...

ND standardized all bird seasons to 30 min before sunrise to sunset. Move start time to 8AM on time change day so you don’t lose an hour of hunting time all at once. Dark comes really early at the end of December.

DNR usually has surveys on their website if the idea has some merit or support. Not there (pheasant) yesterday.

ND legislature meets only in odd years (2025 being one). Rules may change.

Rarely hurts to ask

I used to believe, but the number of game cameras out there is making me think otherwise. Maybe in the rain forests of the west coast (N Cali to BC) they exist. Weather is about right for that type of species to survive year around.

I have only sold one gun that I purchased and have sold none that I was gifted or have inherited. Not a crazy high number, but there are a few in the safe that sometimes I forget I even halve. May next fall I will make a goal to take each one hunting at least once.
