For me, being a taller guy, I go with the adage "longer is better" to help me swing through a shot, etc. I feel more confident and comfortable swinging longer barrels.

I hunt wearing Costa Fantail Pro with the copper silver mirror glass lenses. They offer great contrast for colors. They also are great for the eyes and a relaxed vision experience. They are great while on the water as well.

As my years (and guns) have matured, I have become a huge fan of the 1oz loads of #6 in both 12b and 16b. In the 12b it is primarily the 2.5" load from RST. The pheasants have not noticed they are being whacked by a 1oz load vs something heavier.

The more I am in the Lab game the more I see dual and triple titled Labs. Mind you, I am 99% looking at it from the Pointing Lab world and those breeders. My boy is titled in AKC and APLA. His dad was the same, and the mom was APLA only. Some of the major breed studs are AKC, APLA, and HRC titled.

His first vest was from Scheel's and it tore his inside elbows up as it didn't fit right. I liked the vest, just didn't fit.

Whisky (5yr old Lab) wears his Cuga and loves it. I am pleased with how it fits and the level of protection it affords him. It is really nice to help 'see' him while running through the taller grasses, etc.

I like Diamond Athlete formula, but Whisky didn't like to eat it...
