I use an Orvis and easy to put birds in. When guiding I use a browning vest that can handle 10-12 pheasants in the bag if needed. Also easy to put birds in.

It not as fun. 🤩. Use the screen on my truck also. Moving screen not super easy but still nice to have there.

Verizon every place in SD we have hunted. MT it was spotty to nothing in places. But not sure if other options would have been better??

Correct, Ohio. Blessed to get to manage quite a bit of land for deer hunting and access to additional acreage for shed hunting. Plus next to birds this is a very close second place for my favorite activity so I spend a lot of time walking come spring.

Both my springers shed hunt with us in the spring. Their production varies from year to year but sometime they find a dozen or more between them. These would be mostly scent based finds in n CRP cover. I am usually still guiding at the hunt club and hen and they go back and forth between sheds...

Welcome. Overall a good group here, for the most part. 🤣🤣. Used to hunt in that area then during those down years you mentioned started going to SD and that has been the destination since. We all like dog pics so feel free to share some more.

I’ve not looked at temps next week but unless brutal low(below zero) I would t be too worried. Zip it close and will be good. Check after an hour and make sure not too warm and inside isn't sweating.

Not sure you have this option in your area or not? We have public dog training areas. You can buy birds and use the area to train on. instead of paying game farm price and labor for stocking and such you buy birds and take to the training grounds and release them yourself. COst around here...
