From those I have talked with opener went well. Also hearing one area we hunt corn harvest way ahead and the other it is about normal. Expect we will see a big jump in harvest percent with this weeks report.

Agree it is personal preference but I tend to like longer barrels. My 28 and 20 are 32”. 16 is 29” and 12 is 28”. At some point I’ll likely move to 30’s on my 12. If nothing else as an excuse to buy a new gun. I do like how the longer barrels swing though.

I’ve not personally used them but another guide out at the club has on his labs and seems very happy with them so far.

Here is a pretty good looking gun at a real good price considering the adjustable comb and the number of chokes included. Plus Bass Pro/Cabelas will ship it for free if there is one of their stores close to you...

If wanting to go that route watch Etchens website as they will have exactly that come through and make the process easier for you.

My hunting buddy is retiring in December so decided to buy matching 16’s for pheasant hunting. Just used his retirement as an excuse to buy a new gun. We went with Rizzini Aurum’s. Upgrade from their standard base model but not stupid costly. Lots of good options out there in your range...

Let me ask you something. How many acres do you think the farmer needs to have 10 guys hunt for a day? How about if they want to hunt for 3 days? Just curious.

Have not seen any affects on the pheasant side but did see a few snows last fall that I would ASSUME were flu issues. For the number of snows we saw the percentage showing any signs was crazy low but think it is pretty well documented there is some migratory bird losses.
