Been using Sport Dog since, well a long time. Pretty darn easy to use and dependable. I haven’t gone to ones with GPS location as the tone almost always brings my dogs back insight, if not a slight jolt does the job.

Some do and some don’t. E-collar would help, but in the field they get pretty sneaky. Are they working on a bird scent or snarking down a deer turd? Got a 15 year old who still does it, pisses me off, but she still puts birds up. I nail her when it is obvious but she still sneaks in a mouth full.

Again why I don’t hunt opening weekend or even the second weekend. Today well into the second month of season(state not mentioned) I hunted several public spots and never saw another hunter.

Gotta agree with you. For the first couple weeks of pheasant season MT should provide valet parking at some of the better spots. There’s still birds but boy are they experienced.

Shed hunting for moose antlers is a big deal. I have a friend who flies out to a winter range area every year. Sometimes she makes several thousand dollars. She doesn’t take her dog which I believe would help a lot.

Well some of us hunt/camp with our spouse or significant other. They may want a bit better standards. Still can hear geese in my travel trailer.

Talked to a couple with one in the campground, been hunting in 2 states so far and gonna hit a couple more. Love the vehicle, the only downside is that they only room for 2 dogs.
