    Rain just ended at the Ponderosa, 2.10", YTD 26.70" Friend in Dodge had over 4" and still raining earlier in the day. We are wet, Praise the Lord!

    Midnight shower dropped 0.10", YTD 24.60" I am not used to this. I was trying to remember when this happened before and my only thoughts are in the '50's, maybe '58 or '59.

    Added another 0.55" as the storm moved out. 3.60 total rain today. Quite a soaker, 24.50" YTD Low tonight forecast at 39. My bottom ground will be colder, maybe even freezing.

    3.05" so far today at the Ponderosa and still raining and likely to end around 8PM. It is a soaker and there will be no bottom to many of the roads and fields.

    3:30PM and added another 0.70", that's 3.05" for the day and 23.95" YTD. I am really old and forgetful, but I don't remember the last time the Ponderosa got a soaker like this. There will be no bottom to many of the roads and fields and CRP grass. Radar looks like it might clear out about 7 to 8...

    Here at noon and dumped another 1.05" from gauge, that's 2.35" for the day and radar forecast shows rain until 7PM. YTD now 23.25"

    Here at 7AM and I just dumped 1.30" out of the rain gauge and it is still raining and rain in the forecast for all day. Makes YTD 22.20", well above my 17.50" average. It is total slop at the Ponderosa, which is good for the wheat, CRP, ponds and pastures, but not ideal weather for tomorrow's...

    What was supposed to be a big rain event only ended up dropping 0.10" early Monday morning. YTD 20.90" On road trips around the general area, I am not seeing any pheasants, but seeing an occasional quail covey in areas that I don't normally see quail. Strange.
