    Your "Go-To" gun and why?

“I will need no other” Absolutely not about need. It is about want and is good to have choices. Continue your journey. I do prefer an English stock on an O/U or SxS.

    Your "Go-To" gun and why?

SKB 20ga. IC/M 25” barrels. $375 in 1979. Why? Because I hate missing and my dog likes retrieving. Benelli Vinci for waterfowl. The gun has to fit, no thinking about the shot, just kill it.

    Gloves for brutal weather

Regular heated gloves are too bulky for me, nice and warm when not handling a gun. Have not tried just heated liners. Getting the finger on the trigger and thumb slipping over the safety was an issue. Might as well used my snowmobile gloves. Still looking for a better solution. Like Dude, I...

    Grouse, season start, and snares

Several trappers have told me that yotes are hard to trap, but easy to snare. They have a pack range. When some are removed from an area, others move in. Can’t be too careful. They get the cripples. Mostly eat small furry critters, rabbits, mice, etc. It’s a dangerous world.
