Everyone is free to choose whatever dog they want. I'm just shocked more people would choose a French Bulldog over a lab. My only guess is high population density in cities, where people want smaller dogs.

I was going to start a thread on this when I just happened across French bulldogs overtaking labs. Wild, for multiple reasons.

    Protective Vest

Good tip. I have also wondered if sewing some fleece or other material around the armpit areas, that doesn't cause rub wounds, might work for nylon based vests. For those reading this who aren't used to having vests on dogs, it should be noted that neoprene vests really trap the heat. Great...

GPA?! Hmmm... I'm curious, do you subtract 1, 2, or 3 points from your annual tally for each shrimp you bag? :p Good boy Ace!

    Protective Vest

She used it the end of the 2023-2024 season and about half of the 2024-2025 season. No problems so far, and she puts on quite a few miles and goes through brush and cattails. The reason I got it was so she could have something to hold the fleece vest against her body during the colder weather...

I stayed at a vrbo apartment there. I didn't find any mom/pop type motels there.

    Protective Vest

I like the adjustability and durability of the Sylmar vest. https://www.gundogsupply.com/bogudogvede1.html In some of these photos Honey has a fleece vest underneath the Sylmar. It would need to be pretty cold before you would need anything extra to trap heat for your girl. It looks like she...

    High protein and organ failure?

If you have a Chuck and Don's around you, that is where I get Nutrisource. I've seen it at Menards too, and maybe even Ace Hardware. I fed Diamond for many years too.

I wonder how many years those supplies represent.

Thanks again. How are you picking the 25 pellets that you measure?

Bob Peters writes a short post.

I can't stop looking at cover when driving around, even in low density pheasant country where I live. I know there can't be many, if any, pheasants in some of these patches of cattails, but I am always wondering if they're hiding out in them, enjoying the reduced pressure that a suburban (not...

    Might be a bismuth shortage.

Thanks for posting. If I am understanding correctly and the math is right, some points to note: - #5 comes in at about 1 3/16 oz, so a little shy of the 1 1/4 Oz advertised. - #5 comes in at about the diameter equivalent to a #4.5 shot (bigger than it should be) - #4 comes in at about 1 3/16...

    Might be a bismuth shortage.

Due to material shortages and rising costs, my new pricing is in effect much earlier than I anticipated and restocking times remain uncertain. I am not working on new products that balance performance and price to help supplement availability, but rather I am working on an entirely new line of...

    Might be a bismuth shortage.

Thanks again for posting this thread. You saved me a good chunk of change. That is assuming prices don't come back down in the next season or two. If they do come back down, no harm in buying them earlier than needed. I'm still eyeing those Winchester shells.

If the current shelf is bowed from the weight, you might be able to get by with replacing it with a more rigid material, thus giving the illusion that you don't have as many shells as before.
