Nice hunt! Nice shooting!!!

I recently hunted in North Dakota with a friend from NY. His friend brought a FB Golden that has a Master Hunter; very nice dog. I also have a hunting buddy here in Colorado who has been hunting FB Goldens for 30 years. The female he has right now is really nice.

Yesterday our bird contacts were a little more spread out. Pushed 5 coveys as well. Still much better than expected, minus the heat…76 degrees

We had a great morning yesterday. WAY better than expected. Hunted 3 quarters and probably flushed 100 birds. I personally had a limit by 9:30 (but kept hunting with the group).

Good luck Britchaser, I’m right around the corner…Drove around a bit yesterday afternoon and am cautiously optimistic. Saw about 8 birds in a 30 minute drive. Be safe and have fun!!!

Totally awesome pictures! I know you enjoyed the time out there with your Dad. I just got back from a 4 day hunting trip with my 83 year old Dad. Great to see him out there enjoying the very thing he turned me on to as a youngster.

What’s wrong with hunting with a nice gun? Life’s too short to hunt with an ugly gun (or an ugly dog).
