If it wasn't on private it's very very tough anymore. I spent almost $500 just in licenses to drive out of KS to go hunt another state this year. Next year will be the same except when I can get on private ground.

Just got back from that general area yesterday. There's still birds for sure but like others have said they're educated and have their running shoes on. The depression sank in bad on the way home this trip, I was able to make six trips this year but I'm guessing this was my last for this year.

No I understand how they raise funds, I'm more curious of the allocation and usage of them, particularly when it comes to private ground.

How does that work for private land? Are you just seeking advice? Are they charging you for trips to your place? And what assistance are they offering?
