I learned that a good dog is worth way more birds. My buddy's German Shorthair Pointer passed and we hunted over a mut that didn't know what birds were. Got a griff last week and going to work with NAVHDA and others this summer and spring once shots are done and hunt her this fall. Should be fun

I've got a 7 week old wirehaired pointing griff named Maple. She's a family dog, been here two days, loves to snuggle and is learning her new home 10 hours from her family. Was talking to a pheasant farm/bird reserve today about getting some wings and they suggested training beginning at 8-9...

New guy here, about to get a Griffon and know that good dogs are only better with good owners and I'd like to be one of those. Reading lots already and have heard good things about this 5 dvd series. $150 new seems crazy to me as they seem a bit old. Anybody got a set laying around...
