I went out this afternoon on private, I heard shots around but nothing close. The wind was a challenge today.

The groups that still do drives and hunt as a party throw alot of lead. Lots of those groups are breaking up though. I decided not to go out today and I haven't even heard shots at home.

I am wondering about following my dogs tomorrow in a few public areas tomorrow. But with the Deer Gun season opener I'm wondering how wise that would be. Any of you Iowa pheasant phanatics going out tomorrow?
