Still some good days to be had in Montana. Birds are definitely more skittish and harder to pin down but that’s what creates good dog work.

Another good couple of days in Montana.

I obviously run two field bred golden retrievers. Love the at home temperament and the prey drive in the field. The burrs I could do without. Don’t really ever see me switching breeds. Shotguns I switch between my 12ga side lever Holland& Holland, 12ga Purdeys and a couple other 12ga sxs‘s.

Thanks. They are a father and son from Trieven Sungold Kennel in Lovell, Wy. Waylon the dad is 5 1/2 and the son Whiskey is 2 1/2. will be adding another within the year hopefully.

Another good Montana day. Weather is still a little warm but doable.
