You fellas need to move some place where freedom still exists. We've got 2, soon to be 3 dogs, chickens, 2 pigs (for eating), and at certain times of the year an assortment of homing pigeons, ducks, and quail.

I'm in the south. 3 dogs wouldn't even begin to scratch the itch of some deer and hog guys. 4 might be too much, I admit it. But we have had 3 in the house with us for a long time.

I think it has to do with how you raise them. Yes, you should definitely do your research. Working dogs need a job and will find something to do, usually not good, if you don't give them something to do.
