    Roger’s Toughman boots

I’ve got a pair of Danners from the late 90’s. Still going strong. A bit heavy for upland or else I’d just wear them.

    TSS any good?

The copper acts just like it does for rifle bullets. Straight lead is soft and malleable allowing its shape to deform and distort and potentially shed weight. The copper is a jacket working to keep shot/bullet intact and less likely to deform thus allowing deeper penetration. Old Nash liked...

My theory is pen raised have a chance IF they can link up with and kinda follow along with wild ones. Eat what they eat, run when they run etc.

    Let's talk cattail strategies

Found a honey hole 50+ acre cattail patch. Nightmare to walk thru but full of birds. Thought about it all night. Went back with a strategy. There was a high spot on one edge you could see over the whole patch. I turned my girl loose while I snuck up there kneeled down and waited. Had gps...

    New gun

We like the humpbacks. Dad has several. He picked a Sweet up a few years ago…this thing is brand new. Don’t believe it’s seen a shell and it’s from the 50’s. Had a Montifeltro out last night and put it together. Gotta say that action is silky smooth.

Early on I would de burr my Setter that evening after a hunt. No more. I’ll wait till the next day and be amazed at what she can get out herself. Then clean up what’s left. Arm pits ears etc.
