Depends what you shoot best. Love my 20 guns and shoot them well, better than my 12's. Shoot 3" plated #5's. Pick and choose shots and don't take going away shots at distance.

Shoot the Masai 20 gauge myself. HUGE improvement on the bolt by Retay.

Dogs are just small fur covered people...with a short life design flaw.

Have the Benelli SBE II in 12 gauge and 2 M2's, one in 12 and other in 20. Would go M2 based on your stated needs. Also have a Retay Masai Mara 20 gauge I prefer over ALL the Benelli guns.

Went with the Felco C7 here ..worth the money IMO. Not going to help with the connibear but will get the snare.

Pretty sure chickens have a square or boxed tail in flight vs. the sharp tail of the sharpies.

Don't they hang/age their uncleaned birds?? Maybe having the lead intact with meat and other matter while it ages allows extra time for lead to absorb? I clean my birds, pick shot and don't worry about lead. Kind of ironic if lead makes the hunter as sick as the prey.
