    all newer Fords have tie down cleats in the corners of the bed. Cable from the dog box to cleat with a padlock is about as safe as you are going to able to get. I have no experience with other brands of trucks

    I have buddy that works with wood make English style stocks, the right length for all of my shotguns. I find that English style stocks are much easier to mount when clothes are added for some reason. Also, of course they point much truer.

    Silicon has an adverse effect on wood & canvas. It will make small defects in a “checkering” pattern. Fine furniture makers specifically recommend no silicon on their furniture. Sunbrella specifically recommends “303” for their canvas.

    No, pelicans are protected. Quail & squirrel are open into part of March. Then gobbler opens later that month. I played intercollegiate golf at UCF. Saw quail nearly every day, but really tough to get permission.
