Was there annual weeds this year? I would think the disking would have released a lot of annual weeds from the seed bank that would make ideal habitat.

KsHusker, I don't have any wetlands. I do follow that and have attended some of the workshops, just to keep abreast of it, plus friends with some of those folks.

I wanted to put some in CRP last year but rental went down, plus my real estate taxes has doubled in the last five years
