South Dakota adds 30,000 acres to hunting land

More than 62,000 acres of privately owned land has opened to public access across South Dakota through a Public Access to Habitat program.

Careful, on posting where PF helped give public land hunting opportunities. We have more than a few that are PF haters here. I am sure you won't catch them on any ground PF had a hand in....right!

I seen a large chunk of CHAP land up there. Only restriction on it was no upland game hunting. Seemed odd to me. I asked the ranch wife about prairie grouse and she said there was a horrible winter up there a few years ago and the population is slowly gaining. Maybe that was the reasoning,
