My wife and I are bringing home our second GSP in late April. Our current boy’s name is Metro and we really like the name Maeve for our girl we’re getting. Has anyone here ever had a problem with a couple dogs names beginning with the same letter? I think the full names are different enough and maybe we’re over thinking it, but I still wanted to get some other opinions. Thanks
 
I would try to not make them similar. I am a single syllable guy for a dog's name. As a kid I think it was due to needing to yell it a lot! Bing, Rip, Dude, Gus. Guessing Rip has made comeback due to Yelowstone.
 
The "B" is easy to get out when you are out of breadth. That seemed to be the norm when I hunted the sides of small mountains in the Appalachians. I do much better now that I know more about obedience training a young dog. In my youth, it was a trial both the dog and me!
 
Hard to believe this ? even came up. I thought everyone knew that you can name all dogs with the same beginning letter EXCEPT for M. They are dogs not M and M's. 😉
