People are always asking about traveling and minimum maintenance roads.. stay off the minimum maintenance roads and you won't ever get stuck on a minimum maintenance road. Most gravel roads are passable.. if in doubt turn around.

I have seen four wheel drive tractors with duallies all around buried on minimum maintenance roads. I have been pulled out of trouble by such vehicles too. Lots of wasted time. Key word = minimum

This is a bit off topic, but here's a tip for getting around snow drifts on country roads: drive into the field and along the road until past the drift, taking care to move along slowly.

Those mud roads can become pretty greasy when the top layer thaws out while you're out hunting. It's happened to me a time or 2.
