    New Tires: Falken Rubitrek?

You will like those.....I have them on my RAM 1500. They are good in snow, ice, mud, rain, gravel and highway. They do have some noise to them, well at least compared to a stock road tire that came on the truck originally, but nothing that is unbearable.

Same......looks like some pretty frigid temps coming in there this week.....hopefully not too much snow to insulate the wet areas.

Will do. Was there much snow around that area to begin with? Ground frozen good? Ice on the lakes, sloughs?

My primary is my 12 ga O/U Browning Cynergy CX Composite. My backup is my 12 ga semi-automatic Browning Gold Hunter. It is my duck gun, so I know it and what/how it shoots very well.....probably better than my O/U! The backup always stays in the truck. The only way to know it is there and where...

how do you handle different shells for mixed bag?

I shot and patterned Heavy Hammer Dove.....they are 3" and #7s, Skeet choke and Improved choke. I shoot them for grouse/Woodcock in Northern Wisconsin.....1st 3 roosters I shot this year were taken by that shell. Each rooster was within 25yds. They don't "destroy" grouse and woodcock and will...

    Trip report

Just a question, maybe I'm missing something.....how does a non-resident hunt 13 straight days for pheasants in SD and maybe do another 5 day trip? I thought as a non-resident, two 5 day periods are all that is allowed?
