I have been a member of this site for a couple of years and for the last year and a half have been looking for a rescue or owner reliquished huting dog. My story: My wife (Joan) and I live in Evergreen Colorado on ¾ of an acre that backs up to open space. We are a fairly active family, we both jog and hike the open space with Copper our current dog (Irish Setter). The dog has run of the house and the yard and we also get him into the open space twice a day (A tired dog is a happy dog). We adopted Copper about 6 years ago, as an owner relinquish. I currently hunt with Copper and would like to hunt with the new dog so his background information sounds great. In the Fall/Winter I hunt upland birds and will run the field trials (Colorado Gun Dog Club) in the Spring with the dogs.
