What is the geographical location of this?

I have a friend who lives in Socorro, has a dog, he said it was a very dismal year. He hunted Carrizozo, Magdalena, Datil, Deming (even on some private pastures). Hopefully next year will be better.

In NE Texas, we got a0bout 2-3 inches of snow and an 1-2 inches of sleet/frozen rain combo. Sitting at 19 degrees now. A real challenge for this part of the world.
