That’s what scares me about joining a lease, this year would have been worth it in places, 2018-23 would have been a donation. I’m lucky to have some landowner friends and be so close to some states with public options. I’ll continue to spend my hunting budget on out of state license and gasoline!

I make notes on a calendar, covey or birds found, weather, points, location or state, maybe a special moment. Not a journal but I file them away for the future.
