That safety issue seems spot on. Buddy tried a sxs this past fall for "nostalgia"...first flush excitement...BOTH BARRELS. Sharptail didnt stand a chance! 😂
Agree with single select if I venture to sxs. Barely, BARELY, used to the o/u...plus I'm and oddball shooting top barrel first...
Scheels has sometimes had 12 gauge, but they couldn't even locate 20's from any of their vendors in early December. Crazy...wish I'd have purchased a couple cases a few years back.
Hope you can find the B&P loads, please post if you find a vendor. Been looking for B&P 20 gauge pheasant loads in MN for 2 years...all I can locate is target load or loads for my 28 gauge.
Fly paper is great description!! Had 2 A-Bolt II stocks done in past few years. One so bad I'd douse in talcum powder to be able to fire. What a mess. Very happy with replacement finish by Browning. Very odd you lost the labeling on the gun.
Used to quite a few huns in central MN north of StC in '70's and early '80's. Shot many in '80's when old enough to shoot. No more grassy/brushy fence lines, grass fields and small grains like oats. Miss those days...some farms we'd shoot roosters, ruffed grouse and huns on same walk. Miss...
