What is the best way to see a precip report for a given area, for the last couple of Months? I have searched the net and haven’t been able to find reports. Any help appreciated. Marty

I just have to share the video I have of Capi, my 8 mo old pup. She points from a long distance, holds her points forever. Is steady to flush, shot and fall! She is a great retriever and will back. And all at 8 months, without taking any of her boldness and drive. I can’t wait till Sept...

Planning a trip to Iowa in early Dec. I am wondering if there is private land where a guy can pay a trespass fee and hunt decent land? I don’t need a place to stay, as I have a 5th wheel, just good places to hunt.

That is Sharptail country. I get that the Pheasants aren’t in the short grass. But, my original question, am I likely to find public land to hunt Pheasants in W. Central Iowa?

Well, Blues make a reverse migration. They head up the mountain in late summer and overwinter up high, in Doug firs and if available Whitebark pine trees. Then in the spring, they head down the mountain to breed.
