    prairie chicken

Usually the results are in around September 1st. Check on the prairie chicken page on the DNR website and they'll have a link once the draw has taken place to check if you were successful or not

Do you carry a dog first aid kit while hunting and if so what should be in one

This is what I keep on my vest in a pouch that goes onto the molle webbing of my Final Rise vest. Not pictured is a pair of cable cutters for cutting snares and a slip lead and a pair of heavy duty zip ties for conibear traps. I keep a pretty robust first aid kit for man and beast in the truck...

Advice on bird hunting trip to Grand rapids ,MN

I go up by Grand Rapids with a group of guys on MNs pheasant opening weekend. Which is Typically around October 15th. Early in the season is tough grouse hunting due to higher temps and leaf cover and woodcock sometimes haven't even begun their migration until October either.

    Dog Breed Popularity

I dated someone in the past with a French Bulldog. She told me she paid 5 grand for the dog, and I thought it was the worst dog I've ever been around haha the dog itself was fine, but man the drooling, the snoring, loud breathing, the separation anxiety (which is apparently very common in the...

    High protein and organ failure?

Not who you asked but I put fish oil on my dogs food and the brand I buy has a pump nozzle. So I just follow the directions and put 4 pumps of fish oil per day on top of her food.

    F150

No, the gas V8. Whatever the standard V8 was in 2017s for Fords. The guy with the leaker got the same exact truck as the other buddy because he had such good luck with it on so many miles. He's less than happy with his needless to say. My dad used to be a Ford guy, and he always said "I've never...

    High protein and organ failure?

Gotcha. Yeah dogs are finicky that way haha luckily I've never had any issues with any of my dogs. I could probably drop in the cheapest food I could buy or the most expensive and they'd eat it.

    F150

Not a Ford guy but know 2 people who have 2017s, one has over 300K on the clock with no problems, other guy has just over 100k and it apparently leaks oil pretty bad. So your mileage probably varies much like anything.

    A5 sweet 16!

If you end up experiencing cycling problems early on, make sure to clean the piss out of it and re oil. When I got my Sweet 16, I cleaned it before shooting and it wasn't cycling. Gave it an even deeper cleaning again and I haven't had a FTE since.

    High protein and organ failure?

Nutrisource is pretty good food. I'm a fan of Diamond. Very similar to PPP ingredients wise, hardly ever a recall unlike PPP and Purina products in general and I can get a 40 pound bag of their Extreme Athlete formula for about $50 online. It's also widely available around me. Nutrisource is...

    PF Fest in KC March7-9

Was that just recently announced? I checked a few days ago as I was curious. If it's in MPLS I'll be there as I live 30 minutes. I'm sure I'll work the booth for my breed club again as that's always a good time.

Do any of you use a watch to connect to the Garmin Alpha 300

I use a Garmin Instinct. I probably wouldn't buy one just to use it for my Alpha, but I already had the watch when I upgraded to the Alpha so I use it. It is handy to look at my watch quick to see the direction my dogs at or the wrist vibrating when she's on point, but I wouldn't spend $200+ on...
