Anyone have any opinions on this collar for use in pheasant hunting various terrain. My 20 plus year tri tropics field 70 ecollar is near the end unless I can find batteries for it that work. Thanks.

I agree with the Stoeger M3000 very happy with mine for waterfowl in all weather since I bought it last fall but maybe look at a Weatherby Element 12 gauge auto. I got one for $499 plus tax last fall for use pheasant hunting very happy with it as well.

I'll be out there too with my 5 year old black lab, leaving tomorrow. Might be a little warm, keep an eye on that. Good luck.
