I have used this for the past 3 years and replace the batteries once a year. I stuck some velcro on the back of the transmitter and it sticks to the carpet in my camper shell. I keep the readout on my dash in my truck so I can constantly monitor the temperatures...
I got this bird on public land out of a cedar shelter belt during the big snow storm in South Dakota last year. This thing was a beast and had like 3/4” long spurs. My Kay girl brought it back to me and I knew it had to be mounted. I finally got it back last week.
If anyone is looking for a really good pheasant soup then here you go. I cook my pheasant in a crock pot all day the day before in chicken broth. Then I shred it up and just follow the directions on this soup mix. It is legit and heats up well for left overs.
I keep a pack of dude wipes in the back passenger side door. When it's time I just pull over, walk around, open the back side door and I have everything I need right there.
