I asked my friendly FFL dealer to order me a Maxus 3" chamber and according to him, he can't seem to find one for sale. He was able to find 3 1/2" models in stock, but no 3"ers. I've heard mixed reviews on the different size chambers, figured a 3" was big enough for the kind of hunting/shooting...

Went to SD for some prairie dog shooting in mid June this year and now want to try pheasant hunting with my 13 year old son. Looking for recommendations for places to hunt, stay for a long weekend near either Winner or Mitchell, SD.
