6 guys 10 birds and done for the day at 1030

I am doing my best to keep the tradition going he got this guy on his own and 2 weeks before he got his first deer.

This will be the first year in a very long time we won’t have temps in the 70s for opener.

Who is going and what part of the state are you headed to? We are going to be in Northeast Iowa on a 120 patch of private CRP with 4 guys and 1 dog.

I am in northeast iowa and have seen 3-4 coveys of 25 birds each all summer within 2 miles of our home. I don’t remember ever seeing this many partridge in our area.

Kids wanted in on the picture 3 of us thanksgiving morning in about 2 hours.

We hunted about 2 hours this morning and shot 5 more. There is still large patches of corn in.

I shoot an improved cylinder in both barrels.

We are seeing a fair number of birds in northeast Iowa all private so far.

We hunted about 20 acres of an 80 acre crp and saw 25 birds has a 2 man limit by 9am.
