if i dont have a nice grain field around me what are some other types of ground cover that will work for planting birds. i have thisle, some dry thin grasses and forest area, whats good?
 
It should not matter, something more open, but with enough weeds or grass to conceal the bird, and still let the wind flow so the dog can learn to use its nose. If you dizzy them and shackle the feet they won't run off as much.
 
ya i was thinking of tying there feet then just gathering some grass to put them under. weel and give them a solid spin and tuck there heads
