hey i am visiting over summer break the beggining of it is there any good hunting near Bemidji state university. i am going to bemidji hopefully for college so i thought i might want to learn the land a little
 
The pheasants don't travel that far north. But there is ruff grouse in that area. They can be tons of fun. lots of state land around Bemidji. And good fishing lakes Let me know when you get settled in maybe I can help somehow. Or keep us updated. Good luck with school. (what will you be going for?)
 
I live not far from Bemidji. I know all kinds of places to hunt just east of there. Check out Matt Keller at www.minnesotawaterfowler.com. He's from Bemidji. They put on some great waterfowl hunts for their members. Try www.twinstatesoutdoors.com They are having a fishing and camping trip get together on Bowstring(just east of Bemidji ) lake and do several get togethers a year. That should get you hooked up with some people from the area.
