Upland Tri-Fecta today

Almost! Indiana Pheasant opened today, got into a covey of Quail in a county I have never seen quail, lets just say I missed some then hour later next point is a Woodcock, I dropped it with my 20 gauge, followed by three Hens flushed before finally a Rooster ran my dog crazy for awhile before flushing and falling to the 20, darn near a tri-fecta, was a great day for Indiana!

Hunted quail today in SW Indiana.
No luck this morning hunting with a friend who has an old pointer. The old dude was worn out by 11:30...and we hadn't seen a feather.

About 5 my lab and I went out and found 2 coveys within a mile of each other. Managed to bag 1 bird from each covey. So ... they will be around to hunt up a few more times!!
