Uninsulated Boots??

This past season I broke down and bought the West River boot by Crispi and man...I tell you what. That boot is amazing! Super comfortable, dry, waterproof. Almost no break in and no blisters.
I don't see a boot called the West River on Crispi's web site.

Oh, now I see that it is a Scheel's exclusive boot.

I do get cold feet easily and I don't hunt anything in the summer months, so I have no use for uninsulated hunting boots. Even in early season I do not notice my feet being hot in 400 gram boots. In the summer I wear a shorter "hiking" looking uninsulated shoe/boot. I don't wear too much outer wear in cold weather, but warm boots and gloves are required for me.

Right? I've never had cold feet, but they've never been hot in 400g boots either. Why fix what ain't broke? I got a deal I couldn't pass up on the uninsulated ones though, so I'll give them a whirl.

Tell us what you decided to purchase!

I wear Schnee Beartooth, put a lot of miles on them last season and I’m turkey hunting in them as I type. Damn nice boot!
