Hitting the ice for the first time tomorrow at my place in Sayner. I'll be trying out the new harness I bought for my setter, to tow my sled. Last year I tried in attached to his collar, just for grins. The goofball towed it like a champ, until I decided to film him doing it, then he acted like the goofball he is. I shot a funny video, but can't upload it here to share. It cracks me up every time I watch it.
We had tipups out at hunt camp in Langlade County during deer hunt and pulled in a 28" walleye. I was going to fish this past weekend, but decided to stay home. The fish don't bite during cold fronts and I didn't feel like braving the below zero and wind for nothing. It made the wife happy, though, as I knocked off a few items from her honey-do list that's been growing during the fall hunting season.
