Take a Kid Hunting

This past season I had the privelage of taking some terminally ill kids pheasant hunting during the youth opener. It was for the Outdoor Adventure Foundation, it was one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. The kids and I had an absolute blast, most of them had never been pheasant hunting before and had never hunted behind a pointing dog. I think it is great when they have hunts like this and also have a special season for the youth before the big boys get to go out and hunt, I would encourage all of you to take part in these types of hunts if the opportunity arrives as you will never forget it!

Have helped MANY kids get their 1st deer or turkey, goose/duck & dove hunt in the past - have not had the opportunity to introduce that many upland bird hunt over a dog lately but here's hoping! Awful good thing you're doing! :thumbsup: :cheers:

Good work! I have helped with youth hunts over the past few years and it is one of the things I look forward to each year.
