Sport dog 825x ecollar

Anyone have any opinions on this collar for use in pheasant hunting various terrain. My 20 plus year tri tropics field 70 ecollar is near the end unless I can find batteries for it that work. Thanks.
 
I’ve used/owned all the newer sport dog, garmin, and Dogtra models . Dogtra is the best in my honest opinion.
 
I am using sportdog 425x and like it, I didnt need the extra range the 825 offers.

Their add on beeper is not the greatest IMO.
 
I ordered and received today a replacement battery for the tri tronics from a company in Florida I found on the internet and am charging the receiver I ordered it for as well as the transmitter at this moment, for 14 hours. Let you know if it works I like the tri tronics. Cost was $20 half of that shipping.
