Skunks!

Any of the rest of you guys run into the striped kitties like we did?? 5 days of hunting and we put down 8 skunks... 2 of our 5 dogs took direct hits and the others came close! The pheasant hunting was outstanding, but it sure made a guy nervous every time I came up on a point!

Yes, we hunted three days for opener and came across some skunks, shot one. They were all over the roads. Was in Hamlin,Clark and Spink counties.
 
GOT IT ONCE ALL READY. ACTUALLY TWICE COUNTING A PRESEASON INCIDENT. mAZZIE, THE SKUNK HUNTING PUDELPOINTER. I WAS SO PISSED I PUT HER UP TUESDAY. WENSDAY SHE DID SUCH A GOOD JOB I GOT A $150.00 TIP. LANDOWNER HAS ABOUT 15 LABS AND SAID IT WAS THE BEST RETRIEVING POINTER HE HAD EVER SEEN SO SHE AIN'T ALL BAD.
