Sharptails on Fort Pierre Grasslands?

Looking for a mixed bag trip to South Dakota.

How are the grouse on the Grasslands south of Pierre?

Any hope in hell of getting permission or purchasing a tresspass on private for Pheasants around Pierre?

Grasslands have the grouse. Trespass fees for pheasants around that area. Not much public land. Try the hotels and restaurants in the small towns for trepass fee places.

Good numbers on the grasslands this year. Did not see one pheasant tho this year on opener. Private tough in that area. The Rez, Lower Brule, would be another option $400 for season.
