Question about Beretta O/U

Anybody out there have or had a Beretta 685 20ga.? I bought one a couple of years ago; 26in bbl, fixed chokes and extractors. My gun weighs 5lb14oz. on a set of digital scales. That is pretty light for an older Beretta in 20ga in my opinion. Just wondering if it is normal of if I have one with exceptionally light wood?

Are you absolutley sure the stock is wood?

Beretta started using thermo plastic stocks (not fore-ends) around then. They look like wood but aren't.

I have a 686 20ga from about 95-96 that has that plastic stock.
