Hunted our 1st day of 7 today, and didn"t see as many birds as I anticipated. Can anyone help point me in the right direction, not looking for any specifics. All help is greatly appreciated. This is my sons first trip out and want to make it a memorable one (he is 16).

A bud with just 2 young pups got 4 birds in 2 hours on walkin last saturday out by pratt. That area should be pretty good. I hope it gets better for you guys.
If you have dogs it will help. With small groups be sure you guys are really quiet and hunt thick stuff.
